Our Work

From mental health support to disability inclusion, our work transforms lives across Nigeria’s most vulnerable communities.

Our Work

Community-Centered Interventions That Drive Lasting Change

Supertouch Kindness Foundation (SKF) began its journey in 2020, rooted in the heart of Maiduguri, Borno State, at a time when communities were overwhelmed by conflict, displacement, and vulnerability. Our early work centered around mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, and access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services. We started small — organizing awareness campaigns, distributing dignity kits, and facilitating referrals for GBV survivors in communities like Mairi, Kaleri, and Rann. Our belief was simple: acts of kindness, driven by compassion, can restore dignity and transform lives.

Today, our impact has expanded across six states — Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Taraba, Plateau, and Sokoto — with direct interventions reaching over 34,000 individuals. We’ve empowered women and girls with disabilities to advocate for their rights, trained community-based action teams (COMBATs) to respond to GBV cases, and led capacity-building sessions for service providers, data enumerators, and sign language interpreters. Through collaborative efforts with partners like UNFPA, AUN, RHHF, and CRUDAN, we now lead inclusive humanitarian work that integrates disability rights, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and community resilience. At SKF, our work is not just about delivering aid — it’s about co-creating sustainable change with the people we serve.

At Supertouch Kindness Foundation, our work is guided by compassion, inclusion, and the urgent needs of the communities we serve. From our beginnings in Maiduguri to our expansion across North-East Nigeria, we remain committed to empowering vulnerable populations through integrated, people-first solutions.

From Awareness to Action — Making a Difference Where It Matters

With a team of dedicated professionals and over a decade of combined field experience, Supertouch Kindness Foundation designs and delivers solutions that meet the real needs of underserved communities across North-East Nigeria.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention

Through our COMBAT volunteer teams, advocacy workshops, and referral networks, we are protecting survivors and equipping communities to respond and prevent GBV.

Sexual & Reproductive Health (SRH)

We educate women and girls — especially those with disabilities — on menstrual hygiene, family planning, and SRH rights, ensuring access to services in rural and crisis-affected areas.

Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)

We provide trauma-informed care, awareness campaigns, and counseling services for individuals affected by conflict and displacement — including persons with disabilities.

Disability Inclusion & Advocacy

We promote inclusive policies, train service providers, and work closely with disability rights organizations to ensure that persons with disabilities are seen, heard, and supported in every aspect of community life.

Capacity Building & Skills Development

We equip COMBAT volunteers, service providers, and even women leaders with tools to support GBV survivors, deliver inclusive services, and lead change from within their own communities.

Community Awareness & Engagement

From the 16 Days of Activism to school-based mental health campaigns, we raise awareness on GBV, SRH, and disability rights — empowering communities with the knowledge to act.
